The Beginning
Our youngest son Emerson was brought into this beautiful world. It was clear early on that he was going to face some challenges. He underwent a total of 5 emergency surgeries over the next 2 years. This season taught us grit, gratitude, patience, and what really matters.

Figuring it out
Emerson was diagnosed with Autism in 2021. We quickly realized that if we wanted to give Emerson, along with our other 2 children, the best support, I would need to become a stay at home mom. I left my job and began giving all of me to our children.

Meraki
My husband and I have always had a passion for creating. We love making gifts for people whenever time permitted. My husband purchased a laser so we could expand our creative side. He has always loved hats so we began creating custom hat patches for him, our family and friends. We always thought, if we created a business, we would integrate "Meraki" into it based on its meaning.

It quickly became apparent that our passion for custom hats was shared by most! Word was spreading and we began making custom hats for many people outside of our immediate circle.
